2025 MGCC Annual General Meeting and Members Gathering

The November Members Gathering to be held on Tuesday 11 November will commence at 7:15pm and include the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) starting at 7:30pm.

In addition to the business of the AGM, the Member’s Gathering will include the usual update on current club activities as well as a guest speaker, who will be our well-known member Dr Matthew Crawford discussing his restoration of an MG Magnette.

Members are encouraged to attend to hear about the running of their club at the AGM and to enjoy the usual comradery of a Members Gathering with fellow MG enthusiasts.

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the Constitution of The MG Car Club Ltd (ACN 000 560 538), the Annual General Meeting will be held at North Ryde RSL, 27 – 41 Magdala Rd, North Ryde 2113, on Tuesday the 11^th of November 2025 commencing at 7:30 pm.

Business

• To accept the minutes of the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Posted in Dec 2024 Opposite Lock
• To elect Directors for the year 11th November 2025 to 11th November 2026.
• To receive and consider the Balance Sheet, Statement of Profit and Loss and the Reports of the Directors and Auditors in respect of the twelve months ended 30th June 2025.
• To consider the appointment of the auditor.
• To transact any other business which may be brought forward in accordance with the Constitution.

Please Note

• Only current financial members of The MG Car Club Ltd. shall be entitled to stand for office, nominate and second candidates for election, and vote at the meeting.
• Any current financial member entitled to vote and unable to attend in person is entitled to appoint a proxy, utilising the Proxy Form provided in the October 2025 Opposite Lock or available from the Secretary (secretary@mgcarclubsydney.com.au). Completed proxy forms must be received by the Secretary no less than 48 hours before the meeting. The proxy need not be a member of the MG Car Club Ltd.

Election of Directors

Below is a list of members of the MG Car Club Ltd, who have been proposed as candidates for the position of Director:

The Constitution allows for a maximum of nine directors. As such others who express an interest in becoming a director may be directly appointed to the Board at a subsequent Board Meeting. Members are encouraged to express their interest in becoming a director and helping to run their club.
